i wish sr2 would've had powers! it gets boring after a while always having to shoot everything and always runnin outta bullets when i need 'em. basically, i think powers are cool! & nicer to have in-game organically, instead of having to use a buggy mod just to have some freakin special abilities. can you say 'auto-death'? god, i wish srtt would've had an extension for what you get in that 1 powers mission(from a DLC nonetheless) like a 'super powers always' mode! a menu option or a cheat or even an unlockable feature, like how powers and upgrades are in sr4. & if you're anything like the average player, you don't want to be in the heat of battle with nothing but your bare fists and definitely not without powers like you're suggesting. like, you're already in a 'fake' environment (since the earth has been destroyed) & unlike powers, guns don't 'recharge' & ammo is scarce at times.
without the powers, its like playin srtt while asleep. Sr4 with a no powers mode? thats crazy talk. sr2 was better than srtt in many ways, especially with the choices for customizing the character's appearance & clothes.
maybe its just me, but i think fightin aliens in a simulation is alot cooler than fightin 'thugs' or whatever in a 'real' world. Click to expand.srtt was good but it has nothin on sr4 imo.
